Hidden in the depths of Stourhead, a National Trust property, is this greenhouse. From the outside, a place of utility & purpose, but gazing along rows of neatly placed terracotta pots one can’t deny this is a sight of beauty to behold. There is much I love about this photo – taken by my husband – the precision, method & order, the variety of heights, colours, textures, plants. The light that shines through the open windows, casting shadows on the lattice-patterned walkway.
