
Time away from it all. Time to prepare, to gather and to forage as advent draws near. Slowly drying the oranges on the log burner and the sweet scent of warm citrus fills the cottage air. Scanning the hedgerows for rosehips & berries, dried cow parsley & evergreen branches brought down by the gales. And the first mulled wine of the season, sipping along the lanes – gazing at the bright night sky.
